Best advice for an incoming student:
Use the upcoming years of college to do all of those things that may seem daunting, those activities that make your inner self come to life, everything that excites you and that you are passionate about. College is where you will discover yourself and what you want to do with your potential. Georgia Tech has so many different resources to make you succeed both academically and socially, that you should make use of these opportunities and take the time to make the most out of them. You will always get as much as you put in, and my best advice will always be to try new things even if they may seem intimidating or out of your comfort zone. Use the time at Tech to concentrate on your academic life, but never forgetting all the endeavors that will make of your college life the most memorable experience up to date.

Why should you come to Wreck Camp?:
As an international student, I can definitively say I did not know anyone coming to the U.S. Wreck Camp was the first contact with Tech that I had, as I had not been able to visit campus before moving here. Wreck Camp allowed me to make the meaningful connections I needed to feel confident and surrounded during my transition to Tech, in the span of a weekend. Wreck Camp for me was the perfect balance between information that would prove extremely useful when starting college life, as well as fun activities and building a sense of community that has followed me ever since. The friendships that I formed during Wreck Camp were my support system as I tried to adjust to a new country, a new language and a new culture overall as well as starting my freshman classes. I believe you should come to Wreck Camp because it is an unforgettable experience that is going to give you so much more than you expect it to, and because it provides the perfect bridge to set the perfect mood for the start of the semester.
