Best advice for an incoming student:
The opportunities at Tech are endless. While that is SO cool, it can also seem overwhelming at times. My advice to you would be to find activities that you are truly passionate about and stick with those. Don't spread yourself thin! You will get so much more out of your experiences if you pour yourself into a few clubs and organizations that you genuinely want to be a part of. Overall, don't be afraid to try new things! Now is the best time for that!

Why should you come to Wreck Camp?:
Wreck Camp is truly an experience like no other! I was pushed out of my comfort zone in the best way. I left camp feeling confident and supported as I was about to take one of the biggest first steps of my life. I gained a special type of appreciation for this school that I would soon learn is one of the coolest, most diverse places on earth. I learned all about Tech traditions, how to be successful in every aspect of college, and how to be a leader within the community of my incoming class. While growing close to other incoming students, I was also able to foster relationships with older, experienced students who have been sources of inspiration for me ever since. To this day, Wreck Camp has been one of my favorite college experiences, and it is my hope that other incoming students can have the same amazing experience that I had!
