Best advice for an incoming student:
Don't underestimate the power of "yes". When an opportunity arises (and this could be in any shape or form), take it! Whether it is participating in a homecoming event, studying abroad, immersing yourself in the Greek community, or applying for a campus organization, as Shia Labeouf once said, just do it! It's hard to try new things and step out of your comfort zone, but I'm telling you it's a win-win situation. Worst thing that can happen is that you realize a particular activity is just not right for you and you learn a little bit about yourself. On the other hand, you could potentially find a hobby or organization you are truly passionate about, grow immensely as a person, and come to love the people around you.

Why should you come to Wreck Camp?:
It is pretty stressful beginning the adventure of starting your life at Tech. It's a completely new environment filled with rigorous classes, strangers, and new traditions. A successful transition requires a warm welcome and information about Tech's culture and resources. Wreck Camp staff members are some of the friendliest people on campus. Furthermore, their love for Tech transcends no bounds and is immensely contagious. You should go to Wreck Camp because you will make relationships with some of the most empathetic and amazing mentors, create lasting memories, and form beautiful friendships, all before you even get to Tech. And also because it is just plain fun!
