Welcome from the Orientation Staff! FASET Orientation is a campus-wide program that is designed to ease the transition process for all incoming students, as well as their parents and other guests.
At FASET, you will meet current Tech students who volunteer their time, energy, and advice to help you get acclimated to your new campus community. You will also interact with your academic advisor, faculty, administrators, and staff from all over Georgia Tech who want to share their information and support.
FASET is a great opportunity to get to know other new Tech students, learn more about the campus itself, and discover the hundreds of ways to get involved. Be sure to mark your calendar for R.A.T.S. Week, a Welcome Week for all Recently Acquired Tech Students, that begins on the Friday before classes start and New Student Convocation. You will hear about R.A.T.S. Week and New Student Convocation at FASET.
We look forward to seeing you in Atlanta for FASET!
The FASET Cabinet is made up of a group of 10 student executive members that work on projects throughout the year to plan and facilitate orientation and new student programs. FASET Cabinet also serves as the mentoring board for our FASET Leaders who serve as the hosts for new students, parents, and guests during FASET sessions.
The FASET Leader Staff, comprised of 90 students a fact that makes Georgia Tech's orientation team unique from most schools around the country. FASET attracts the best and brightest leaders from all backgrounds to give each person going through orientation a sample of what wonderful diversity Georgia Tech has to offer. All Leaders are required to learn important campus information so they can provide the highest level of customer service to our incoming students and their guests during FASET.
