Wreck Camp Program Info

Wreck Camp aims to bring together new and current students to help jumpstart their college experience in a summer camp setting. With a focus on community building, traditions, and personal development, Wreck Camp creates a strong support network for students before they begin classes at the Institute.

Wreck Camp is going into its sixth year and is run by a group of four Wreck Camp Directors and a staff of 38 Wreck Camp counselors and crew.

Each year, around 150 Wreck Campers attend the extended orientation program that takes place off campus at Rock Eagle in Eatonton, Georgia.

The experience has a profound impact on both campers and staff alike and is embodied in their chant: “Wreck Camp, Hell Yeah!”
